  2. We 4 traveled by 12010 Express yesterday vide PNR – 8260740373 in CC- C3 compartment. The food served caused gastrointestinal problems to all of us. My wife Shanta Mandowara had eight times loose motion coupled with dehydration. Similar is situation of all of us.
    I am writing this mail with great difficulty and pains to provide you the feedback so that further suffering of others could be avoided.
    Please get food quality checked and ensure proper food is served or provide option to travel without railway food. As such this is avoidable trouble for us.

    1. Did IRCTC care enough to help? I am in the same boat. Over months have gone and IRXTX care goes round & round.
      most of the sites do use registered Email Id to send OTP to facilitate Password Reset but IRCTC is managed by people living in -1000 before Big bang.

    FIRST OF ALL YOU TRAIN DID NOT EVEN COME TO kharagpur and howrah. we are supposed to board at howrah. see the proof in below website. Everyone knows that Train No.12503 Bengaluru Cantt – Kamakhya Express Train scheduled to depart Bengaluru Cantt on 17thNovember, 2017 is diverted to run via Hijili, Nimpura and Asansol Stations (instead of Kharagpur and Howrah).

    i was travelling with my entire family two kids and one elderly person. (if you check my ticket details you can find in it). you have no plan of informing your customers that certain train has been diverted so that your customers would not end up in hazel. now again to add up to my frustration you mention that TDR is rejected with reason AS PER CHART PASSENGER HAS TRAVELLED.

    This is heights.

  21. I booked a ticket in Tatkal from CSTM to NAG for tomorrow’s Duranto Express in 3AC using mobile app but didn’t get any confirmation. After few minutes, I booked another ticket in 2AC and I received confirmation for both 3AC and 2AC and am charged for both the tickets.

    Now when I am trying to cancel any one ticket, the system is not allowing me to cancel either of it.

    When I contacted [email protected], Pankaj replied that “no refund will be granted on cancellation of confirmed Tatkal/ PREMIUM_TATKAL ticket.”

    How is that even makes sense that I have to bear both the tickets charges for me due to system issue? Please cancel the 3AC ticket and issue a refund. I will travel by 2AC tomorrow.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I’m facing two major problems related to my IRCTC Account which are mentioned below,

    1. I have booked a ticket on 28th Feb 2018. The details of the booking are given below:

    While checking the status of the refund amount in the Ticket Refund History, it is shown that the amount is refunded to my RDS Account. But I do not own any RDS Account to my knowledge. So kindly take necessary actions to solve this issue and refund the amount back to my Bank Account through which I made the payment.

    2. While trying to enter my PAN Card and Aadhar Card Number for registering a new IRCTC E-Wallet, it shows a mismatch between the names in the Aadhar Card and the one in the IRCTC website. As per Aadhar card details my name is Sreesarath K P, but in IRCTC I have given Sree as the first name and Sarath as the last name. From then I am facing a trouble while linking my Aadhar card to the IRCTC account which stating that “Pi(basic) demographic data mismatched”. So kindly help me to change my name in IRCTC Profile to avoid this mismatch.

    So kindly help me to change my details and update PAN & Aadhar.So that I can avail e-Wallet facility.

    So i tried to reset the password, but after enter my user id and captcha it redirects to blank page.

    I have also tried to make new account with different details, but it says mentioned mobile no. and mail account is already used. I have tried with my 2 different mail accounts but the error was same.

  62. The online booking system for retiring room is a fuss. i have never succeeded in booking the retiring rooms through it. When you go the reception counter at concerned railway station you shall get a room offering bribe to the guy else you will be asked to book online only, which never works. It is a vicious circle created by IRCTC. Shame on it!!

  68. I booked a ticket on IRCTC 12 days before and the booking was not done.my money was deducted from bank and I did not get my cashback yet and none of the helpline numbers are working. In the refund rules it is written that person will get refund in 7 days. Worst experience and service by Indian railway.

I booked a ticket from Jammu to Varanasi on 4th March, my ticket not booked but I was charged three times for RS.4175 each from my bank account which clearly showing three debit entered if 4175 each in the name of IRCTC. I am continuously striving hard to get my refund but all in vein as there is nobody to care for. I have mailed from bottom to top for many times, only a ticket bearing no. 137916 generated on my name but nobody is going to scrutinise the matter for refund. All are just enjoying the posts for salary only and no sort of work is being done by them. I have also talked to IRCTC helpline but they say nothing except to wait. The fact is they have charged for no service but not ready to refund the amount.

  72. Dear Sir, I am unable to make more than 06 Tickets/PNRs in a month. I made Complaints by phone and send many emails attaching Screenshots of my problem to IRCTCs Bhopal office where they had shifted their Customer Care Centre.
    जो व्यक्ति ग्राहक सेवा केंद्र पर बैठे हैं वो निहायत ही बदतमीज़ हैं, अधुरा ज्ञान है, व्यव्हार बहुत ही ख़राब है. पूछो कुछ जवाब कुछ मिलता है. समस्या बताओ तो कहते हैं जल्दी बोलो दुसरे भी हैं नहीं तो हम काल काट रहे हैं और काल काट दी जाती है.
    मुझे सोहेल, अजय प्रधान एवं सत्य प्रकाश वर्मा के emails वापस मिले लेकिन उनके द्वारा भेजे गए emails से ऐसा प्रतीत होता है कि मेरे द्वारा भेजे गए emails देखे ही नहीं और मुझे जवाब भेज दिया.
    मुझे ये लिखते हुए बड़ी ही शर्म महसूस हो रही है कि IRCTC ने क्या देखकर भोपाल में अपना ग्राहक सेवा केंद्र खोला. दिल्ली में था तो समाधान मिलता था. साथ ही बड़ी शर्म से लिखना पद रहा है कि अगर ग्राहक सेवा केंद्र पर ऐसे लोग, चाहे लड़का हो या लड़की, बैठेंगे तो ग्राहक अपना सर पीटेंगे और IRCTC को कोसने के अलावा कुछ नहीं करेंगे. 2 -4 बार काल करने के बाद सोचेंगे के IRCTC को भाड़ में जाने दो जैसा है ठीक है.
    ऐसे लोग ही किसी भी अच्छी चलती हुई संस्था को बंद करवाने में अपना पूर्ण रूप से सहयोग करते हैं. IRCTC तो सरकारी संस्था है शायद कोई फर्क ना पड़े पर ग्राहक को तो शर्म आ ही रही है.
    अगर मेरे ईमेल को पढ़कर शर्म आये तो जवाब ज़रूर देना.

    This is to bring to your kind notice I (Kamlendu Neogi) have booked E-ticket from NJP to Kanpur Central for dt. 26/5/18 in 1st AC, but our ticket in WL when train arrival in NJP station, but as per auto upgrade rule our ticket confirm in 2nd AC.

    So I want to know what is rule of this condition because our ticket is not upgrade its degrade, in this case I pay fair of 1st AC but I travel in 2nd AC

    Why I can not link my Aadhar to my IRCTC Account. My Aadhar number was previously linked with old IRCTC NEXT GENERATION website. When ever I used to link Aadhar on new website it shows following Error which reads as

    I have booked a tatkal ticket form bangalore (SBC) to Kakinada (CCT) on 21-07-18 at 4 PM, but my boarding point is Tirupathi (TPTY), Unfortunately I was not noticed that ‘change of boarding point option’ even though i searched a lot in the website while booking, so i booked a ticket form bangalore (SBC) to Kakinada (CCT) first, then i tried to change the boarding point in the booked history at that time it was not possible because my actual journey is on 22-07-18, the difference of time is less than 24 hours that was not known to me so neither i cont change the boarding point nor i cont cancel the tatkal ticket, even though i cancel i could not get any refund.

    Please highlight the change of boarding point option in the IRCTC website, so that it will be visible to all . Please dont keep that option some where in the corner.

    If possible kindly refund my money back.
