It’s a shame for Airtel that you people are not able to solve my problem which I’m facing from past 11 days (and the irony is that AIRTEL PROMISES maximum 1 day for sim activation WHAT A JOKE!!) .       Very upsetting to read what you have gone through.I’m from Defence Services.
      I couldn’t stop myself replying to you after reading what you have gone through.

      The phrases which they had used to convince you that there is a problem with the hand set / problem with the settings were told verbatim to me too by the Telecom companies.So l guess their employees had been trained to tell this to their customers. Sad state of affairs !



      Despite the fact that probably nothing is going to happen,l still plan to complain against Airtel in the Govt PG portal ( ) against them for harassing the customers which includes me.

      I have a proper recording of the conversation,so let’s wait and see,if any action is taken against the culprits by the so called govt redressal cells as is promised by the government time and again that these redressal portals will redressal our complaints,if we have a proof to substantiate our complain.


    2. You are right mam they seriously mad.After adding 1100 rupees in Airtel Payment Bank account they immediately blocked my account.
      To reopen my account i spent 4 months.
      I sent total of 85 mails, calling Airtel customer care 20-25 times , visiting payment bank store 10 times, messaging on facebook daily. I was getting same answer as you were get.Finally i warned them to took the issue in court then they seriously look into the matter and resolve my problem after 4 months.

    1. Yeah you are right bro,i am from gujarat,and i take a plan of 448 rs as promise they will provide us 1.4 gb/4G per day,but after i used 300 mb internet speed as 2g,and last and last i used 500 MB,and other all data are westage

    ९८९८०१२३४५ ऐ फोन पे बहुत बार बात कीया हर बार २४ घंटे का समय देते रहे बाद में ईमेल कीया ऐरटेल कस्टमर केर,नोडल अधिकारी , एप्लेट अधिकारी को फीर उसका फोन आया ९६७६९९४६२४ ऐ नंबर से ७२ घंटे का समय दीया हमें लगा ऐरटेल वाले फोलप लेंते है लेकीन समय ७२ घंटे चलें गये हम ने ऊपर दीया नंबर पे फोन कीया लेकीन लगा ही नहीं फीर हमने इन्टरनेट से एक नंबर मीला ९७२४५३४८६५ फोन कीया ३ (तीन) दीन का समय दीया कोई जवाब नहीं देता अब हम क्या करें ,,,,,,,,,,,

    Greetings of the day!

    The above subject enumerates my feeling towards Airtel. Being one of the oldest customers with more than 15 years of relationship, I am forced to write this mail to you to share my experience which virtually has been nothing but a breach of trust!!

    Last month I was travelling to UK and got in touch with your call centre for a suitable plan. I discussed my travel plan and was offered a 10 day pack for 2999 which was activated by you team. I was told that post the usage 0f 3GB and I suppose 250 calls, some charges would apply.

    Now the struggle began!! I receive an SMS on the 30th June / 1st July stating some renewal of plan. On getting in touch with your call centre for 2to 3 times I was assured that it could be due to an internal error/problem but no double charges shall be applied. YOU CAN EVEN CONFRIM THIS FROM RECORDING OF CALLS IF AVAILABLE .On requesting for my customer reference number, I was told that it was not required and that the same has been taken care of.

    Today I receive a bill with double charges of 2999 being levied by your company and on my checking the same with your call centre I am given a very rude and arrogant revert by your floor supervisor named Raman!! I was informed that the plan taken was covered under some auto renewal. To my utter surprise I am actually shocked to see this kind of an attitude from your team. Tried to explain the following facts:-

    a) I travelled to UK from 19th June. Departure from UK 29th June.

    b) Communicated with your team about my travel plan and dates.

    c) Was suggested the 10 day pack with no intimation on auto renewal.

    d) Under the 10 day pack some 3 GB data and 250 minutes of calling were offered post which charges as applicable were to be applied.

    e) If I were informed about the auto renewal, I would have opted for your next higher pack which I suppose is for 30 days / 5GB data for around 3999.

    f) Please appreciate that for a single day I would not be paying double the charges as what is reflected in my billing 2999 x 2 as I was back in India on 30th early morning .

    I tried explaining my concern to your executive that no such renewal clause was ever mentioned by anyone (which can be confirmed by your previous call recordings) but it seems that he was more interested in closing the call or passing on the blame to me rather than understanding my concern. It’s not a matter of 2999 alone instead it’s a feeling of breach of trust which I have now towards Airtel. You can even get your records checked to confirm my concern that I was not communicated anything regarding auto renewal and moreover my above stand as mentioned in point “f” refers to a legitimate stand!!


    The quality of your call centre and also their ability to resolve customer’s queries has deteriorated over a period. I even mentioned my concern to the executive on the 30th June / 1st July that hope I would not be bothered to resolve this issue again and also put to unnecessary hassles of writing mails etc… But he assured me that no such double charges would be levied… The issue again bounces back on me as a customer and now to put our concerns are being made to run from pillar to post and write mails and what not ..

    Hope you would understand my point of view and provide me an early resolution to my concern.

Please mera airtel no activate karo. 9622476056.before one month I converted it into 4g from the retailer but new 4g sim card did not get active.after that i called the customer care he told me that this 4g sim card has got a manufacturing fault so u should go to airtel showroom shopian to get a new sim card. I did the same but unfortunately due to your weak services one month is to go my sim card is same as it was before one month.     Hello sir this is my 5 or 6th mail regarding the same issue but no one’s resolve our concern so today I’m sanding my last mail after that we go some anther options ( Social media platform or disconnections / portability ) we are informing you by this mail we take the some mobile connection no as corporate costumer by the name of M/s The Iconic Holidays but day one( first Bill to till dated ) I have not received any bill Hard copy By post / Currier or soft Copy in our mail id so how can we pay our bill amount and if we don’t pay bill amount so service provider( Air tell) stop our service or charge from us panel ties as let payment charges is that right ??

    Note: I have ordered for a new airtel dth connection online(prepaid order) on Oct 9, but until this point of time it is not activated.

    I made an online order for a new DTH connection on Oct 9 (in Coimbatore, TN) by paying Rs. 1590 (online payment). Oct 10, I got call from the local airtel retailers to check regarding my address and they informed they will install it by evening. Evening I made a call and the team said since there are only few service persons available, they will come on Oct 11. On October 11, I called and team said they will come in the evening, but not turned up. After so many calls and escalations to local airtel shop and airtel customer service, finally my dish and set top box installed on Oct 14, evening.

    The service person told me it will be activated within 20min – 1 hr. But it is not activated. After 2 hrs I tried contacting the airtel customer service, the feedback was it will be activated by 11pm. But not yet activated (In the airtel website the activation time is shown as 20mins). I made another call by Oct 15, 12.30am. The customer service executive asked me to wait for next 24hrs for activation and else if it is too urgent I can contact the backend team and disconnected the call without giving proper feedbacks.

    (Some other complaints were not registered by the team)

    So the point is I made a prepaid order for a new connection on Oct 9. but until now on Oct 15, I am not able to enjoy the services. And the most weird thing is when I am calling customer care, at different times I am getting conflicting replies, sometimes they are disconnecting the calls without hearing my complete concerns and even sometimes they are not registering the complaints. I can’t acccomodate this kind of treatment from a global brand like Airtel. I have one more dth connection and 1 landline+broadband connection of airtel; now I am sincerely thinking to switch from airtel to some other service providers. Atleast I hope, I can expect some kind of proper customer service support from other providers.

    If you are not willing to provide me the service activated for the prepaid order I have placed within a stipulated time, I would like to cancel the entire order and would like to get refund (complete amount) for what I paid. I think it is not required to pay someone without receiving any kind of services.

    I hope it is clear and I am not interested to carry forward anymore further communications with Airtel. I can wait until Oct 15, 4pm (24hrs from STB and dish installation). If I am not getting the services by 4pm(Oct 15), then as I mentioned cancel my order and give me the refund of Rs. 1590. You can take back whatever products come up with the package (STB, dish, wire, remote).

    Hoping for a little more consideration as a customer from a global brand like Airtel…

    After restarting the Handset so many times,there is no network is coming.we have selected the network manually also but still not activating.

    I am struggling to activate my SIM for last 20 days and changed 7 SIM but there is no resolution of the problem.

    I am feeling helpless my Old sim is also deactivated and New SIM is also not working.

    Nobody is able to solve the issue. I dont know how Airtel will survive by giving this kind of services when JIO is giving tough competition. You people are unable to retain your existing loyal customers.

  32. I have taken an airtel prepaid number 9618242737. I had used it for 2 months and couldn’t use it after that because i lost the sim, then two months before i went to nearest airtel office and requested them to give me back my old number only if it was possible. They made me roam around there office everyday for two weeks and everyday they used to give me a sim which never got detected in my phone and finally i got really mad at these people and asked them to deactivate the number. ONLY BECAUSE IT SHOWED ACTIVATED IN THEIR SYSTEM AND WAS NEVER ACTIVE IN MY PHONE. I never made a single call from the number nor i had used it for a single day. They said that they deactivated the number and gave me another number, which is also prepaid and which is my present number
    From a week my dad has been receiving calls from the airtel office and they were demanding him to pay the bill of 1200 rupees of a postpaid number which i did not know how it changed and i haven’t even been notified in mails or anywhere about this and even threatened my dad that they’ll sue him legally and he would be blacklisted.
    I demand severe action to be taken against these stupid people who cheat their customers or else ill have to go to the consumer court.

  36. I opted to recharge my Airtel DTH account no. 3017494706-001 with INR 5801 under annual infinity plan on 6th September 2017. During October, I started realizing that I was still unable to view few HD channels under multiple categories.

    I tried connecting with customer care several times between 10th October 2017 and 23rd October 2017 but even after 5 to 7 minutes of wait, calls used to get disconnected. Finally, on 24th October 2017, I spoke to an executive and detailed her the problem. She briefed that things are fine at her end, she was surprised that I am unable to view the channels. To my utter surprise, she mentioned that while I changed the plan, I should have proactively called up the customer care and requested them to allow me watch all the channels…. Or else how is Airtel informed what plan I have subscribed for? 😊 My astonishment! Well, she had no patience to listen to me, rather she wanted me to hear first and at times when I failed, she was feeling irritated. What a world class customer care center !!!!!!

    Well, I requested for a technician’s visit on 25th October 2017 morning so that the problem can be rectified in front of me. (I decided to leave late for office). After an hour, I received call from a technician who was adamant on visiting me on 24th October itself and when I requested him to come the next day, he rudely said he can’t come in on 25th and that I should close the ticket. My request for reschedule turned deaf ears to him.
    To my greater surprise again, I later on came to know that he has closed the ticket blaming me… he stated “customer isn’t reachable over phone.” …. Pathetic…. For his fault / unavailability and unprofessional behavior of him, how can he pass on the blame on a customer. What a world class customer care center and service !!!!

    On 24th October 2017 itself, I made another call to customer care and requested him to schedule a visit on 25th. ….. frustrating that this request was not taken up only i.e. my request to arrange for a technician’s visit on 25th October was put in a dustbin. Wow !!!!

    I raised another request on 26th October 2017, requested for a visit on 27th and complained about the prior experiences. A floor supervisor assured me that the problem will looked into asap and a technical will be coming over to my place on 27th October. I received a call from a technician the same afternoon. He informed me that there are some MDH hardware related issues and he would require at least 2 days to look into the problem. However, again, he requested me to close the ticket and call him on his personal number after 2 days and he would solve the problem them. Surprisingly with unprofessional behavior, I refused his offer and asked him to talk to Airtel and keep the ticket open till problem gets resolved. He mentioned, he would be in trouble if he the ticket is open for that long. I didn’t pay heed to him. Another WOW experience at the hands of professional Airtel !!!!

    On 27th October, a technician did visit my home (in spite of my request of morning visit, he arrived in the afternoon) and tried correcting the problem over 3 hours. He changed another set up box which I am not sure if it was new (box, manuals or any other documents) weren’t given and asked me wait for another 24 hours to view any of the channels. (All the channels except Naaptol weren’t broadcasted). I checked on 28th evening and channels weren’t broadcasted again, called up the customer care and the lady asked for another 24 hrs just to rectify card mismatch problem at server. When I called up the person who has visited my home, he put me in a conference with another local Kannada speaking lady who clearly asked him why didn’t he rectify the problem while visit itself as it was probably a minute’s job. He promised to call me in 15 minutes but I am still awaiting for that 15 minutes to get over. 😊 Well, to customer care lady, I clearly explained that the problem isn’t that big and it’s shouldn’t take much time and if it does, I opt for disconnection. She promised that maximum by 10.30AM on 29th October, the problem would be resolved.

    On 29th October, I spoke to another floor supervisor and requested for disconnection. He again started providing me all lame reasons and when I didn’t by it, he said he would take disconnection request. To my surprise again… the request not taken up. However, I started getting multiple calls from Airtel DTH enquiring whether my problem has been taken care of. Frustrating !!!! In the evening, another lady called me up again, checked if the problem is resolved. When denied, she said she was refreshing up the system again….and it worked. She clearly told me that the particular error code is just a refreshing issue at backend it hardly takes any time.

    I am a 16 years old subscriber of Airtel mobile (average 6 number simultaneously though numbers keep on changing). I have used Airtel’s broadband and landline between 2003 and 2015 (relationship restored 2 weeks back) and had say good bye because of such pathetic customer service issues only, though it wasn’t that bad till 2 years back.

    I again sincerely request you disconnect my Airtel DTH connection with immediate effect and return my money back with immediate effect. First money back and then only you think of procuring anything from me as I don’t believe Airtel at all now. You all are liars and cheaters occupying the places there. I plan to disconnect my Airtel Boradband as well as all my family mobile connections from tomorrow. That means……complete no to Airtel going forward.

    Earlier Customer care said it will resolve by 4th Nov, now this SR got closed without resolve the SMS issue.
    Still My SMS service is not working , and SR is got closed.
    What I should do now??

I have to call customer care and the amount gets deducted and also I have been informed everytime that from next month onwards it will be not charged. but this does not happens and I have to call every month to customer care and get it deduct.

    I am residing in Baragaon,(Dahibhat Madhopur East)Pandaul pin-847234and I am facing Network Problem since September 2017 and chasing with their customer and Nodal Officer.
    Whenever, I lodge a compliant to the Nodal Officer, they respond immediately without any solution. Utterly pathetic!! They are claiming on TV Ads they are are the strongest network. They are No.1 but they are totally ZERO as of date. They are not at all interested to improve their network at any cost. I am not blaming the Customer Care, because firstly, they are not technical sound and secondly they totally helpless.
    I think coming year Airtel will close their shutter by end of this Financial Year.

Even don’t get 2G speed properly, So why I’m wasting my mony to recharge of Rs.448 plan for daily 1GB 3G/4G Data, I’m not satisfied with your service, last time I called at your customer care but they didn’t give me any solution, do something for this issue otherwise there are many service provider who serves better service then you at reasonable prices like (VODAFONE & IDEA). so do something about it.

    i have a family plan of rs 799 ,however invariably airtell sends me a bill over 1500 rs,tried complaint thrice but the customer care put me on hold for 20 mins.Tried calling the Nodal officer 5 times each time he rejected the call.Airtel probably is forgetting as a customer i have many options to sue and also take other service providers.also as a Serving army officer will spread this word of their cheating customers so we we as an organisation boycott airtel for good,also take legal action,
    iam surprised at the audacity of Nodal officer AP and Telangana has failed to resppond. inspite of my 5 calls and sending sms ,he is in different world ,but will come to mother earth soon.

    I am Ramkhilawan Banjare from Pune. I wanted to port my reliance gsm number 8080706395 in your Airtel network. For this i went to my near location Akurdi, Pune mobile shop and met one Airtel guy Name- Vijay, Mobile-9860096361 on 15-Nov-2015 and Vijay has done MNP my reliance number to Airtel and he said your number has been successfully port and it will be active within week.

    But my number not activated after a 15 days too Then i went to shop again and met with Vijay and he told me your number has been rejected. Even he did not inform me before, i had already left my alternative number with him but when i went after 15 days after that he told me thing. I never expect any airtel employee have that kind of poor service.

    After it Vijay told me come tomorrow we will do REMNP again. And today they were doing but they need the new Reliance code, my old reliance code they already used.

    And vijay told me without new reliance code they could not able to port. And that new code only reliance can provide to me. You already know reliance has closed their all services so from where i can get that new reliance code.

    Even i talked to this issue with Airtel guy Vijay’s senior person name- Amol, Mobile-9665049158 and he said, they can’t help me. Even he did not accept his mistake and talked me like very rude.

    Airtel is very big brand and i never expect airtel hire the such kind of employee who don’t care about their customer, who could not able to resolve the customer’s issue. This is a very poor services of AIRTEL.

    I am struggling past 15 days because of this kind of airtel employee services. This airtel guys has been eaten my reliance code because of that i could not able to port in other network also.

    I being a hotel owner being in the service industry is writing second compliant as i am totally fred up with the non professional service behavior of your zonal service manager Mr Girish (Mobile No.09970282077) and his subordinate service team including Mr Suraj (Mob No. 08626039123, 07020295604 ) who are very unprofessional in giving the true commitment on the closure of my service we hoteliers are focused on providing best room services instantly in order to ensure comfort of our guests and give them value for money but when Satellite TV which is one of the basic amenities is not functioning properly even when all the recharges are done properly and the wiring is also not damaged , this puts a BIG QUESTION MARK ON THE CREDIBILITY OF BRAND GOODWILL of AIRTEL in the indian DTH industry.

    WHEN your sales team gives FAKE AFTER SALES PROMISES , WHEN recharges are not done then many follow ups are done from customer care for intimating sincerely about the exhausted recharge balances , my question is where is sincerity GONE when it comes to giving service ti the customer in case of technical FAILURE , because my Guest will never hear such excuses from me as i have taken room tariff from him which makes me liable and bound to provide every
    basic TV service. and in case of signal failure when i try to Contact Mr Girish, he will merely say that he will see into the matter and send his technician when the technician is FREE or NEAR my hotel AREA and when i try to His Subordinate Mr Suraj , he is never bothered to pick any calls.

    And Even after calling for various times when i ask girish sir about the reason for DELAY he will helplessly give the statement that he is not capable of handling the corporate clients and there is LACK of STAFF and INFRASTRUCTUE.

    AT LAST TOADY i FEEL CHEATED and I REGRET MY DECISION OF CHOOSING AIRTEL DTH would request you to kindly discontinue the CORPORATE CONTRACT and i am hereby ready to SURRENDER ALL 20 SET TOP BOXES and the wiring accordingly.

    Because i can bear the unprofessional behavior of your CASUAL STAFF like MR GIRISH and MR SURAJ but MY hotel room guests will never BEAR this service.

    Kindly TAKE ACTION ON HIGH PRIORITY within 24 hours otherwise i am making my mind to TAKE STRICT legal action against AIRTEL DTH in public interest in association with my fellow hotelier friends.

    I have two mobile no. one is in CG and another in KA. I have issue with CG no. And that CG customer care number is 9893098930 given by customer care executive. I have tried with my KA airtel no and it says it is not in use.
    I called up customer care and asked the same thay said sir try with some other network no.
    What a service i can not call any airtel customer no. From another airtel no., To do so i need to purchase any other network sim.. shame on airtel services.

    Broadband Data Offered FUP upto 150 Gb Now giving 30 Gb after that 1Mbps speed.

    Now my Concern is regarding Speed which was coming from 40Mbps to Just 2 Mbps
    And Broadband Data from 150 Gb to Just 30 Gb
    Why Airtel is doing such fake promises and defaming itself In Noida
    If you are unable to provide good Broadband services in Noida then why you are making customers fool and wasting their Hard Earned Money.

    I will raise a case on this now. Earlier someone called me on my alternate number and talked in-appropriately…What the hell action was taken on that lady.. I need to know that now at any cost. That idiot called on alternate co Nov 16th Morning time. You need to check who called me on that number and I will need to raise a case on airtel and the people who all are handling this. I was continuously sending email since then but no reply and action have been taken on this. What do you think about customers? Are you people crazy or something?

    I have been using this number since 10 years but now I feel shame of you people and your inappropriate behavior and poor service. HE ID ASKING FOR THAT PARTICULAR TEAM AND THEIR NUMBER NOW WHO CALLED…AFTER 1 MONTH … WHAT A GREAT TEAM….Earlier airtel team replied to my email stating that they will take action on my complaint. BUT NOW THEY DON’T EVEN LOG MY COMPLAINT DETAILD. I TALKED TO MANY PEOPLE AIRTEL AGENT BUT THEY DON’T HAVE ANY LOG COMPLAINT WHAT I TALKED AND WHAT I MENTIONED. IT MEAN THEY ARE JUT CALLING FOR TIMEPAD…REDICULOU.

    Every time I contact some new airtel team person speaks and I have to explain him all the issue, I think you people don’t have a database where you log the complaint for any number.

    I also observed that agents who are calling are not updating the complaint in the comments. They just like that call for the sake of calling and don’t resolve the issue. Even if I speak to 100 people, no one will solve properly, every time Its hard explaining them the issue and they will say they will check and never ever check.

    First of all, i would like to introduce myself as a “frustrated Airtel digital TV Customer”!!! wonder why?? see the reason below..!

    I have a multi collection, with full HD channels for a year subscription. all of a sudden, almost a month ago HD stopped coming in my primary connection. I made several calls to the customer care, initially nobody was able to find the reason. Finally a senior executive found that the HD was cancelled on Nov 28th without any reason, i mean i never requested to cancel. Your executives told that that reason is being investigated and would be resolved within 24 hours. Even after 3 weeks of me calling several times, the issue was not RESOLVED!! I still don’t get the HD channels in the primary connection and shows error code 4!

    So, here is the story and please let me know what should i do? Should i cancel the Airtel connection and go for other alternative options? Or can you solve this problem? expecting a faster response from you.

    with reference to above complaint No. 82644896, I would like to inform you that I had registered a complaint against your network on 11th January, 2018. First I requested for portability and for the same your customer executive Mr. Keyur called me and asked the reason for portability.

    I have the Airtel connection since 2005 almost 11-12 years.

    I want to ask/clarify as under.

    1. Why the airtel has worst and poor 4G network in Vapi?
    2. I am not getting 4G network at my location in Vapi. The details of my location I had already shared with your so call ed customer executive on 11/01.18.
    3. The so called customer executive committed that your problem/complaint will be resolved within 5 working days i.e. 16.01.18.
    4. Today on 16.01.18 I got a message from Airtel that “Dear Customer, with reference to the service request no. 82644896 on your Airtel mobile, we have noticed that your handset is not data compatible. To enjoy internet services, please upgrade your handset.”
    Sir, for your kind information I am using Apple iPhone 5S having all the required features for 4G network connectivity.

    Can you please suggest is my handset really required an upgrade?
    For the same Should I have to ask Apple to upgrade their handsets?

    Mind you sir, the above message from Airtel has not resolved my problem of internet connectivity at my location.

    This is what the only thing airtel can do to resolve the customer’s problem.

    I think you must have to upgrade your infrastructure to provide the 4G network to your customers.

    If I pay airtel for 4G netwok, you must have to provide me the 4G network.

    If you are not able to provide the 4G service, please accept the same so that I can proceed for the portability.

    The services from AIRTEL in terms of Network, Internet connectivity, 3G/4G, customer care, Customer executive are totally dis-satisfactory, totally disappointing, worst.

    I hope as a nodal officer You will do something and Hope get back some response.

  92. MIT College of Engineering and Management, Bani, Hamirpur (HP) has some airtel (CUG) numbers for last many years. Services of two cug numbers suspended by airtel for want of payment without any advance information/intimation to the organisation whereas payment of the airtel (CUG) bills has already made by us on 26 Dec 2017 and concerned staff of airtel in Mandi and Chandigarh was informed accordingly and bank transaction details was sent to them. But not positive response received as yet. Nodal officer of Airtel was also approached through emails and telephonically to resume the services. But they intimated that service has been suspended for want of payment whereas payment has already made. Bank transaction details of the payment was sent to nodal officer but still service has not resumed.

    On 29 Jan 2018,I have initiated To add Rs 447/- to My Airtel Payment Bank A/C to recharge for Rs 448/- by My Airtel App.Transaction Id 180129899659.
    I had Succesfully added Rs 447/- via Transaction Id 511224282.
    And my Bank Account debited for Rs 447 but my Airtel Payment Bank dint reflected or my recharge done for Rs 448 was unsuccessful.
    I got a message that my Saving A/c is credited for Rs 447/- but it wasn’t .
    When I called Airtel Customer Care I got a reply that there is no such Transaction.If it was I have to wait for 7-10 days to reflect transaction in my Bank Account or my Airtel App.
    My phone is Due for recharge on 30/01/2018 and balance will be deducted why I pay double and being penalised for the fault which is not at my side.
    Please See into this matter as soon as possible.

    1. Airtel mobile service is extremely poor and inefficient. Their response is terribly slow and lethargic. My complaint of March is still unresolved and customer care executive tells me today that my complaint is already registered in March.
      I think I shall transfer all my 20 odd connections to a better service provider in disgust. What a shame a leader in the industry has come to this pass. God bless!

  103. It’s a shame for Airtel that you people are not able to solve my problem which I’m facing from past 18 days again 1 month back I have faced the problem with my 9204040401 number now I am facing the problem with my 9990879830 number.
    On 1st week of Feb I have given the Idea number 9990879830 to port in Airtel 16st Feb I receive a message that (once your mobile displays no network please inset the airtel sim in your handset and call 59059 to verify your details) after few hours mobile network has gone and I inset the airtel sim but there is no network, next day morning I visited airtel store they says that till evening your sim will get start and they have given me new sim again , Know it’s more than 18 days there is no network in airtel sim and also in idea sim.
    I have visited idea store also they are saying that your number has been ported, I send my staff to your airtel Bistupur office daily Mr Vivek Dubey and Ms Jyoti who are working there in Airtel bistupur store only say same line that your number is holed in Idea we have send the mail it will start till evening which evening I don’t understand.
    My credit card , bank account all otp comes in that number and from 18 days you don’t understand what problem I am facing, If my number will not get start within 24hrs then I am really very sorry to say you that I will take some strict action, I really get frustrated from last 18 days

    One more thing your jamshedpur Bistupur store staff don’t have much knowledge of their work first give them training and all so that they can solve the problem of the customer.

    As an old customer/user of Airtel Broad-band service vide Land line No: 41406322:-
    (i) We were being regularly billed /charged for @1300/- per month till Nov 2017. Since Dec.2017 suddenly we are being billed/charged @2100/- per month without our knowledge, information &/or reason.
    (ii) We have failed to convery our problem/greivances in the matter as we cant get connected to any contact numbers/email etc. of Bharti airtel since last >2 weeks inspite of our repeatedly best trials.

    1. That my client has purchased AIRTLE PREPAID NUMBER: 9915381910 from Chandigarh around 2008 and since been using it without any difficulty. But on 6th APRIL 2018 my client is facing problem regarding unnecessary balance deduction. The details messages of balance deduction are as under:

    • 1ST MESSAGE: Received dated 6th APRIL 2018 at 9:58 AM. It says that your LIFE STYLE SERVICES has been activated and mobile balance debited Rs.35.
    • 2nd message: received dated 16th APRIL 2018 at 12:02 PM. It says that your ADOF GAMES SERVICES has been activated and mobile balance debited Rs. 25.
    • 3rd message: Received dated 17th APRIL 2018 at 1:29 AM. It says that your COLOR-MATCH SERVICES has been activated and mobile balance debited Rs. 15.
    2. That it is pertinent to mention here that all these 3 SERVIES are started without my client permission and unnecessarily amount deduction has been made from my client mobile balance. It is also important to bring in your notice that my client uses this number only for calling purpose and not for any other services provided by the AIRTEL service provider.

That my client has also make numerous visits to AIRTEL service centre which is located in MDC SECTOR-5 but none of service centre executive attended him properly and also my client has make calls to helpline number of Airtel 121 or 198 but all the calls are attended by the answering machine and none by the Airtel executive personally to solve my client problem to recover his money back.

    If this time, permanent solutions not done for my bills, I will go for JIO SIM, which is cheap and reliable for me, and they provide me 60 GB data free for a month, due to I had 7 connection in Airtel.

    Also I would like to say that, just now I had taken new connections, Airtel 4G HOTSPOT – connection No 9205189372, and pay Rs. 1200/- as I am not getting any benefits from this connections because, I had already submitted my TATA Photon Dongle to Airtel Service Centre, Janakpuri D.C – they haven’t given me free Airtel 4G Hotspot, in Exchange of Tata Photon Dongle , which my costs come Rs. 1200/= cash + Rs.1500/= Tata Photon Dongle = Rs 2700/= that is my total cost , which I had paid- Please adjust my Rs. 1200/- for my next 4 months bill i.e. August, September, October & November – 2018, & confirm me over my phone

    Whereas, the Reliance JIO SIM provider offer me Rs. 999/= + 3 Months Internet free @ 60GB + 5 GB for extra use for every months i.e. absolutely 195 GB data free for 3 months – Please tell me which one is benefit for the customer ???

    As other Telecoms Reliance JIO SIM provided me very good services due to I had 8 connections on my name, and free internet also provided me by Reliance JIO SIM, One Reliance JIO SIM executive came to my house and taken all the documents from me to convert Airtel Service to JIO Services, because services which you provided towards customer is worst and every time fake commitment had done by your customer care executive.

    Already I, port out my all the Nos. AD584829; AD584841

    If the matter is not sort out within 48 hrs , I will go for Reliance JIO SIM provider for my 7 Airtel connections , also I will let you know that every month bill should come Rs.320/- or Rs. 330/- not more than that. In that case I will contd. your service otherwise I will go for Reliance JIO SIM , which is good as well as reliable & Happy for me.

    I have been using Airtel I have been using airtel for the last more than 12-13 years and my family members too but sorry to say we are fully irritated now with the worst network coverage and poor services of Airtel..
    I do not find any way to even complaint I called customer care 2 times to lodge the complaint but they said we have lodged your complaint your problem will be solved in 48 hours when I asked for complain number they gave me reference number which was actually an interaction ID they didn’t even registernmy complain…
    I am facing very poor network coverage in my area even in my home we have 4-5 airtel connections but all are suffering from the same problem…

    While going to some other locations it works fine but at home and in my area it’s worst…
    We can not even make calls from inside the room…I request you to send your team and visit my area once just to check the coverage otherwise I will be porting all the numbers into some other good network service provider…
    I also tried complaining in my airtel app but didn’t find any option to register any complaints from open network I saw an option issue a report but there I saw a number to complain 12118 but when I call on this number ivr says it’s an incorrect number..

    Last 15 Days heavy network coverage issue in my office entrance gate place before 15 days all customer do talking Accurate but last 15 days all customer network issue at my entrance gate place. Because All customer’s can’t attended any call this place because automatically call was disconnected. while outgoing call 5-7 times dialing after calling done. No coverage airtel company at my office counter.

    I humble request to you please resolved this issue on priority & if possible booster setup your airtel company in free of cost. All Airtel Customer were satisfy & will give better banking service to all banking customer’s.

    i have been paying bill along with complaint and with the height of frustration i stopped paying my bill from last month.
    so i have two months bill outstanding. i can pay now also but what about my complaint. will Airtel solve immediately once i pay the bill?

    i have escalated many times to airtel customer care and they dont care about that complaint. they insist to pay the bill instead of rectifying my signal issue.
    there are so many calls i made to customer care but nothing gave me a good response.

    none of the customer care followed me, i only keep on following airtel to solve the issue.

    now they have started to put late fees and taxes on top of that.

    i dont know whether i need to pay the bills for the non signal airtel as like that, or ask airtel to give me the service and collect the bill amount.

    We Indian have lot of times and we are not in hurry for anything (mostly). I mean, Your Unlucky girl is talking something about Okhla Speed test but we don’t need speed, I mean Jio speed is Ok but if you wanna compete with Jio than change your plan with more data and validity with less amount in compare with Jio.
    So, if you don’t wanna let your service die like others than change your plan, this might save your Ass.
    And let me tell you one thing, When we all became addicted with internet and you guys sucked our blood like saving our pocket money to buy few data like Rs13 to get 25mb and all the calling plan, Only one Service came and saved our ass (JIO). So, you have to do something BIG to divert our mind from Jio to Airtel.

    Please note that airtel is double charging me and also sending bills with error.

    I called 2 times in last month and got the amount waiver messages but it was never waived off.

    The worst part is I am not getting feedback on the queries those I raised on bill errors.

    I have active unlimited calling plus 1gb of free data on my number +91 8433763767 till 26-June 2018, however when I am trying to make a std call to a local Mumbai landline number it’s giving me an error as invalid number however I am able to make call on the same number using other service provider. I called and logged the complaint COGCL20620945827 however they do not understand the issue as well. They responded that it will be fix in days. How
    ridiculous is this, person want to make the call now and he can make it only after few days. Bad service, planning to switch to any other but not airtel.

    In last one month you guys activated various unwanted services on my number 9650905846 and deducted all a/c balance (Rs. 155)
    When I was trying to get resolved my problem on customer care they disconnected my call before I finished the call, and regretted to reverse my balance.

    Secondly I was made recharge on number 8528597811 of Rs. 448 multiple times but every time recharge got failed and balance has been deducted from my account and credit card, refund is pending from last 1 month but you guys always ask for 3-4 days to get reversed but still not received.

    I have been using Airtel for the past 18-20 years and we have 5 airtel postpaid connections at home.
    I have been calling Airtel Customer Care from May till date and they are not giving me an estimated time for this issue to be resolved. They just ask me to wait for 48 to 72 hours every time I call the customer care.
    Also, I have provided them with my alternative number i.e my landline number 0120-4288588 to get in touch with me as they cant reach me on my mobile but no one from your side has even bothered to call me once and tell me the solution.
    Therefore, I Request you to install a booster at my place as your tower resorting can take another 6-8 months and I cant just keep waiting till then.
    I have been waiting patiently since May.
    I don’t wanna change the network to Vodaphone or Joi but you guys are not giving me any timeline and forcing me to do that.

And I needed to change my sim from reliance to airtel because we got an information that reliance company would be shut down so we needed to change my simcard. I got a call from airtel local distributor and they informed me that I needed to change my sim to airtel postpaid because they dint issue prepaid sim that time. Then I upgraded my reliance sim to airtel. I used it for many months. I received good benefits too from postpaid sim. But I dint want to pay much amount every month because amount differed in each and every bill payment. It was too expensive and I dint need that much data. And I wished to change my sim to prepaid. I visited airtel showroom on 12/06/2018

    I have been informed that the sim will be changed from postpaid to prepaid within 3 days . After three days I tried to contact airtel customer care service the call dint get connected from my phone. I again contacted from another phone number and informed the customer care service center. They said the request of changing sim from postpaid to prepaid could not be processed . after few days I again called the customer care and asked about the complaint which I gave regarding sim changes previously to customer care service . they said that they have not received any complaint that I gave them regarding the delay of changing sim from postpaid to prepaid. And they registered a new complaint on that day . the customer care service of airtel is really such a headache. And I could not receive calls or I cannot call anyone till date. And one day I directly called “nandanam airtel showroom” and queried them about changing my sim from postpaid to prepaid . they gave a blunt answer that it had not been processed. They informed me to contact nearest airtel showroom. I visited nearest airtel showroom within a day. The second showroom I visited is in “North usman road” . I went there they said that I have an outstanding amount of 100rupees. Previously I had paid “570” rupees in “nandanam airtel showroom” and second time I visited they said there was a server problem no amount could be recharged that time. Third time too I got the same reponse. Fourth time when I visited I had paid “199’’rupees for prepaid recharge in advance . And “100”rupees foroutstanding then they said request would be processed within 48 hours after 4 days I again visited airtel showroom they said that still I have an outstanding of “165”rupees and they said it would be processed within 48 hours again. Next time I visited the showroom they said 100”rupees ” has not been updated in system and they said they would refund it but it would take much time. i wish u torefund the amount in my airtel app … 3days passed and I contacted the customer care service Executive Mr.Chandru today on 30th june . he said that “ Sir u received a call yesterday regarding the change of sim from postpaid to prepaid. And u have said that u would wish to continue in postpaid itself” I had not received any call regarding this yesterday on 29th june. Sir inspite of having many works I had to visit the airtel showroom 7times. I had to spend my time and nearly “1500 rupees” for paying bills and just for visiting airtel showroom several times no proper response or any action has been taken against this issue from your side. I request you to process my request and contact me on this number “7305872038”. Kindly do the needful and contact me soon from ur side .

    I am pleased to inform you that in this period of JIO, in my family every body is using Airtel pre paid mobile services.But I dont know why it is providing slowest speed of internet in the VIKRAMNAGAR MOHALLA, BACK SIDE OF RDSO COLONY, ALAMBAGH AREA OF LUCKNOW.
    Only few of seconds in whole day it is showing 4G, and generally showing “H” only and internet is not working. I have travelled in most part of india but it is my bad experience to get the slowest speed here.

    “I want to raise a concern with most trusted netwrok airtel either in mobile or DTH ,but I am so sorry to commit that you failed in your commitment,its being two days i am following up with airtel customer care team but i am not getting any resolution.

    I am highlighting my issue:
    I reached my DTH with 3 months package of Rs 1741 HD pack on sunday (1st of July)near around 11 AM but it didn’t get recharged in 15 mins so i called customer care they said they didnt received any transaction details they will get into this issue and resolve it in 24 hrs ,unfortunately its being more than 50 hrs i didnt received any resolution yet.
    And very same day i got transaction details of my mobile payment,”dear network” i have postpaid connection so why will i recharge my phone .There is some error in in your user interface ,and where is my fault i am facing so much of issues.

    I request you to kindly resolve this issue ,either recharge my HD pack or refund my money.

    I am a one of your airtel prepaid customer & my no is 7503215569. I have a litterly bad experience with Airtel service. I dont know from where I have to started . Firstly I was using Idea postpaid service but my experience with him also not good due to extra bill charges . So I thought , I should port my no in Airtel. After that on 4Th July 2018, Finally my no was ported in Airtel after so many issues. So many issue I had said becoz ur excutive said in prepaid may be ur no not port but I was insist him & in my own risk I said to him u go ahead with prepaid . And from day one I have Network issue automatic network show half , Actually mostly half network in my phone also I am not using internet, Its like I am using 2G network , Can U belive that. I am using OnePlusX Phone . I have only one SIM which was always put in Slot 1.

    I think 9 to 10 times I am register my complaint in your call center , which you can see my call details & my complaint Id. Always your excutive said no issue from our side they refresh it only & said switch off your phone and again on how much time I had did that but still my prob is same . Can u belive that most of time I am mailing to someone & its almost Half an hour mail not sent still in my outbox. Now u tell me what kind of 4G service u provide to customer. Litterly I am fadup now , And what u said in ur add Sb kch try kar ke dekho …………. OMG its all lie infact Idea is better than Airtel.

    Could you tell me when I am using my proper internet Or again I should go to port my no .

    I stay at Pratikshanagar in Sion, Mumbai.

    I have repeatedly posted my grievances regarding no network availability of Airtel at my apartment. After getting no actionable response from your team I requested to close my number via telecommunication, email as well as posted my problem on your customer care site. I had made these communication from December 2017 to January 2018 and had cleared any outstanding dues on my behalf in January itself.

    Even after informing via multiple channels and also personally visiting your store at Sion Circle, Mumbai, I continue to get messages and call from your executives regarding some additional payment which I have to pay to Airtel even when I am not using your services of Wi-Fi from past 5-6 months and had specifically requested to close the services to the number (which apparently your team did not).

    Kindly look into the matter and please close the services from your end.

    This is to inform you that I am not satisfied with the bill that is generated this month (9871716906). I think there is some error.
    I called the customer care twice and discussed with the executive about the same. They tried forwarding the call to some senior executive but the seniors were busy in some other call.
    The executive assured me for a call back but I didn’t receive any regarding my bill issue.

    The issue is as below:
    Last month I changed my bill plan to a family plan of Rs. 799 in which I could attach 4 more family members at no extra cost.
    I included 2 of my family members.

    In the first month I received a consolidated bill which included my own usage bill and previous balance bill of both the family members. That was around Rs. 1654.
    I paid the same on 7th June’18

    Now this month again I have received a consolidated bill and to my surprise this time again Airtel has sent me previous pending dues of all three numbers. The bill amount this time is Rs. 2735.42
    If the previous outstanding bills of all three numbers were cleared in last billing cycle then from where have these old dues cropped up again??

    Kindly get the same rectified ASAP.

    I have been using Airtel for almost 15 years now and such cases leave you in bad taste.

    No free callertune
    Worst Network speed u can see the report as I have attached Csv file to you Jio giving 16 mbps speed and airtel giving 4 mbps

    So please explain me What is the use of taking postpaid connection of airtel

    I will be in airtel if u can make my plan same as prices of jio or idea Bcoz even idea has same data plan
    But why can’t you Postpaid service can’t give

    If this is the service you provide I was wrong in suggesting yours service to my friends and family members surely I would do make a note of it and suggest some other service providers.

    Having mobile no non registration issue but Airtel could not resolved in last 8 days .
    After every escalation on call or mail, gets one call saying we are sorry for inconvenience & after thet there is no call or update untill I call them.
    If this is the altitude of Airtel team then definately they will not be able to survive for more time against other responcive competitors.

  246. Langate, Aug 06 (KNS): Internet and call services of Airtel services are quit erratic in Langate region in Kupwara district despite locals complaining with the concerned cellular network officials for redressing the issue.
    Consumers of Airtel services said that the 4g network is not working in the region from the last several months. They said that the call drops of the network are also quit frequent which disrupts their daily communication and other mobile activities.
    Altaf Ahmad, a resident said that they have to switch from 4g to 2g mode to dial and connect with other consumers. He said that the 4g network is not working despite the consumers recharging with 4g packs. He said that they are planned over to switch other mobile networks if the problem is not redressed immediately by Airtel authorities.

That time one of the Airtel customer support executive (girl) called me and said as don’t do portibility we will provide better plan offer. She says as below : plan name 299 i will give you discount 100 rs for you, so the plan 199+tax ( calls unlimited+25gb) will come. Every month your bill will come around 250 only. I accepted that plan. But tdy my bill has generated with the amount 350 rs. I don’t know what the propel doing. They giving wrong commitment to customer. If we going to do portability means, they will call and convince us. After that they cheating customer. Worst service and commitment.

    Making complain regarding network
    Since February 2018. Always to they commit 4 days to solve the issue but without resolution they always close the complain.
    Just got tired and generated the port code to switch to other network.
    Thay called me on 14th August
    And promised Me they will resolve but didn’t got solution till date.
    Best part there team started harassing me by calling ten times a day that please tell us issue and got imgrate. But none of them resolve my issue.
    Meanwhile they generated my bill with excess amount. When I made complain they confirmed me that it will be resolved within 24 hours.
    That are not giving good service, no proper network, and if you want to port they will make excess billing.
    Sunil Mittal if you are running short of funds please tell us we will start a charity compain for you. But please stop these fraud activities.
